I would think any rehearsing would have been done by Mary, and maybe Cholly? She knew the backgrounds, she knew the steps. What help would Diana have been?
I'd love to see a day to day calendar...
"Some of the fans", lol. Just one.....who thinks he knows more than he does.
Not everyone is an English scholar; we all have varying degrees of education. My Grandmother was brilliant, and only finished 6th grade.
Flo Ballard? Didn't she have an 11th grade education? I'd...
The tops of these remind me of the Gene Shelley silver sequins with the blue "peacock" stones.
I wonder what the size difference was between Diana, Mary, Cindy, and Jean. We always hear how thin Diana was, but Mary had to have been just as thin to fit into Diana's. In essence, if Mary wore...

Never once have I heard him referred to as the KOM. I'd recon that belongs to BG.
So nice to see someone is releasing Supremes!
IMO, this album suffered greatly by too many song writers and producers. Was the thought to give everyone a shot? The great Russ Terrana was the engineer on this set; I'd love to hear his take.

There was probably no thought of "significant value" of the gowns in the 80's. Several were still in heavy rotation. Allen did design several gowns for Mary, including the ensemble she wore for the...
Look no further!
She's a part of "The Motowners"; looks to me like they get quite a few bookings!

I like the latter day Supremes, like Shantel Baker, who replaced Freda Payne, and Pearlie Salters.
Scherrie talks about how she had to be pinned into hers as "Jean was big", lol.
Does this timeline make sense? I thought Scherrie's first gigs were in Phoenix and Cincinnati? But she talks about the RAGGEDY ANNs that didn't burn, which would have been BEFORE Phoenix and...
"Mary called me on a Thursday and asked if I could come out to LA by Saturday because they had an engagement that next Sunday [[in Phoenix). So I flew out and went into rehearsal as soon as I got to...
In a February, 1974 FANCLUB NEWSLETTER, Mary says:
"We're trying on gowns tonight and just trying to get some gowns together for Vegas. We have to try to scrap up gowns because of the Mexico fire....
Back to the original subject; what exactly could Willie add that hasn't already been said? Love Mary Wilson, but by the time Willie got on the scene, Diana was waving her batwig in exit of the...
Remember Tonita LaTurners book? How she was SUCH GOOD JUDYS with Flo Ballard, and yet I've not once seen a single picture of them together.
EVERYBODY is BFF with the Supremes.
Not Over You Yet should have been to Diana what Believe was to Cher.
That fool. His gown book filled with pictures that have eBay watermarks? He's as phony as the names of the gowns he's given.
Corbino was announced in June, 2020 as the new lead. By October/November, 2020 he was already gone.
Corbino was very outspoken politically and I'm wondering if that didn't play into his demise in...
