david recalls recording at tera shirma and united sound. he also played the 20 grand and roostertail.

The Utopias on Fortune and La Salle are the same group. David Lasley and his 2 sisters (I think).
Don't really like the Fortune release that I heard (but there are 2 and I've only heard 1). The La Salle record, though, is aweseome. One of my favorite blue-eyed soul records. Unfortunately, I've only got a one-sided acetate of "Girls are against me", so I don't know what the b-side sounds like.
