David,
Clive never visited the studios. He and I had several phone convesations commencing when Columbia was going to start using Tera Shirma. I don't remember who was going to be recording what...I suppose it could have been Mike Terry, but I really don't remember. I was just over-joyed to get Columbia's business.

IT WAS A MIKE TERRY INSTRUMENTAL ALBUM OF MOTOWN COVERS ISSUED ON COLUMBIA. I WAS IN FROM PHILADELPHIA AND MIKE HIRED ME TO PLAY ON IT ALONG WITH BOB BABBIT, EDDIE WILLIS, GRORGE MC GREGOR ET AL.
IF ANYONE HAS A COPY OF IT I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE A COPY.
IT WAS PROBABLY RELEASED IN 1968 OR 1969.

THANKS BOBBY ELI

I can't think off hand of a Columbia album of Motown covers except for a real weird one that
I've never seen. There's an album called something like "Going To The Motor City" by,of
all people, the New Christy Minstrels. Could
this be the album you're thinking of ?

I'll see if I can dig up some more info.
