This past Saturday I was once again a behind the scenes participant on the Jerry Blavat show at the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. On the show were: Pookie Hudson Felix Cavaliere of the Rascals with Charlie and Richie Ingui of the Soul Survivors The Intruders The Manhattans The Blue Notes(with several members) The Chi Lites Pure Gold backing Pookie and doing their own set Kenny Vance and the Planotones The show was sold out. The first time I heard "Expressway To Your Heart", I thought it was The Young Rascals until my best friend at the time Kenny showed me the 45. I used to have the TSOP LP on them, wish I still had it. It wasn't a great album, but it was interesting. |

Andy, It was promoted independently by Jerry and was exec produced by Henry De Luca of the PBS shows |
