I am not sure how many of you saw this show, but it was hysterical. The "cork soaker" skit had me on the floor and Janet did a dead on impression of Condaleeza Rice during the 9/11 investigation (Condy gets nervous at a particular hard question and exposes her breast to distract). Also there was a sketch where three ghetto girls are trying to get tickets to the Janet Jackson concert (Janet played one of the girls). They find out that the ticket prices are 250.00. One of the girls says "For that, Samuel Jackson better be on drums and Rev. Jesse Jackson singing back-up!!!" At another point one of the girls (Janet) goes through a litany of rumors about Janet Jackson, ending with "I hear that she had two ribs removed to get skinny. And I hear that Michael and Janet are the same person!" One of the other girls says "Well, that explains these ticket prices!" Just hysterical. Janet was clearly having fun and looked fabulous. Maybe the world will let the Superbowl go... Janet seems to have already. |

That sounds great--hope they re-run it. Love the Rice/breast thing. |

My fave was the "Good Times" skit! I'm sure they will re-run it. |

Thogh I missed it, I'll surely tape the repeat. I guess that Janet's not so washed up at that. This evening, CNN reported that show got huge ratings. Is there any truth that she's having a problem with Kashif over the sampling of I'm In Love on her new single? I hope that she sells triple platinum as I never knew that she was washed up, until I heard it on TV after the Super Bowl. Boy did I feel stupid, I thought that she was doing alright for herself all of these years. Guess I'm a bit behind the curve these days! Juice Juice |

It was a great show, but kind of sad that all of Janet's comedy skits far overshadowed her two musical performances, both of which were weak. I liked all the skits that have been mentioned, especially the Condi Rice one, and the fake home movies she showed from her "normal" childhood. Janet has a great sense of humor about her unusual family. |

J5 Collector, I agree that the two songs Janet sang were weak, however, her skits were right on the money....very funny! She's gorgeous, talented, and hopefully she'll be able to put the whole superbowl thing behind her! |
