"Rolling Down A Mountainside" by The Main Ingredient was recorded 30 years ago today. Recorded at RCA's Music Center Of The World in NYC, the record was produced by the group (Cuba Gooding, Sr., Tony Silvester and Luther Simmons) and arranged by Bert DeCoteaux.

"Rolling Down A Mountainside" is one of my all-time favorite songs. From the initial chords to the strings, to the heavy drums and fantastic lead and backup vocals, the song sends out a chill every time I hear it.

I have it on a homemade tape that I play constantly in the car.
