I am sure someone reading this has their names but Nick & Val used a couple of NY singers in addition to themselves in the backgrounds, which were cut in NY along with the strings. The lead vocal, and the super-bad backing track, which you can hear in all its extended glory on the SITSOM DELUXE, were recorded in Detroit. |

Hey guys. I'm in NYC for a few days, and just left the Sugar Bar, owned by Nick and Val. It's open mic night and I was really looking forward to having a nice evening listening to live music, and hopefully some REAL singers. But it was CROWDED. No, not CROWDED, but CROWDED. So much so that I thought of those clubs that caught fire, and I left. I am sooooo disappointed. Just thought I'd whine a bit ... |
