Hi this is Kev-Lo what's happening everybody I just came up with a idea for this new forum. What about if we can do radio shows like they do on Soul Patrol.I think this would really make this forum a great sucess because we can get play our music and give some history about the artists and people from all over the world can hear our shows.I for one have alot of great music and great song's to play and talk about so maby this could be some to consider.

Reflections on Northern Soul goes out on Saturday afternoon at 2:30pm on www.radiomagnetic.com
and you can tune in anytime to last months shows at www.radiomagnetic.com/archive/ rnb.php

Each show has two hours of northern soul, rare Motown, a slice of southern a lick of Latin, a modicum of modern and a riff of R&B. You can find out where to hear Soul music in Scotland and the rest of the UK and we keep an eye on the record collecting side too.

Each week we play a live set recorded straight from the decks at one of Glasgows top clubs. DJs have included Lenny Harkins, Colin Law, Straight Aheads Simon and Mark, Thomas Love and Mikey Collins.

We have had the occasional guest on fo a chat such as Guy Hennigan,
David Meikle (soulfuldetroit.com), Paul Massey (soulscotland.com) Martin Gavin (Caledonia Soul) Paul Malloy (Friday Street) and Hammy (Souler Power)

And heres what were playing this week.

I agree that is a great idea. I wonder if WDET or CJAM in Windsor would put it on the air?

Unless of course you mean just on the 'net.

Thanks for the links FrankM. I check those out.

Great idea, Kev-Lo. (I wanted to comment sooner but I wasn't hooked up right. Then I had trouble finding this thread again.) I have some of my old "Cruisin With Lenny Tone" radio shows on tape that I could maybe contribute - good for a laugh anyway(from KRVM in Oregon). My pathetic imitation of Frankie Crocker, Jocko Henderson, etc.
