Hi Folks, I need to ask someone out there a massive favour. Being in the UK obviously I won't be able to see Motown 45. I was wondering wether any kind soul would consider recording the whole show for me on to V.H.S. I will happily pay the costs of the video and of course of shipping. If there is anyone out there who can help please let me know, I will really appreicate it. Hope one of you can help. Cheers, Sean http://www.seanlivesey.com livesey1@hotmail.com |

Sean, I'm not going to watch it, but I'll tape it for you. I just have to make a note of it. Juice |

Sean & Juicefree - TAKE NOTE!!! The video systems for the US & UK/Europe are different. USA uses the NTSC system while the UK uses the PAL system. A video tape made from a US television or cable broadcast will only play back on an NTSC compatible video deck AND TV - you need both!....... Juicefree - if your VCR was manufactured to be sold in the United States, it uses the NTSC system. Sean - if your video deck was manufactured to be sold in the UK, it uses the PAL system. Unless you have a NTSC to PAL video converter, the tape that Juicefree makes will not play properly on your machine..... |

Thanks for the info Motown Boy, I hadn't considered that. I can record directly into my computer & can edit a DVD into any format necessary, so, that may just be the way to go. Thanks again! Sean, I'm on your mailing list, so you have my e-mail address. Juice |
