A'noon All, I found this below Press Release interesting, indeed. Btw - the Tops - Tempts - Ojays & Whispers will be in my area this weekend. They will be at the Nissan Pavillion. I'll tell 'ya! At this point in my life - I have been wondering about things that peak my interest. For instance - can we not imagine - how much fun these fellas have at these concerts? I can just imagine the cutting up they do backstage. LOL! I have tooooooooo many favorite songs by these groups - so I'll just name four off the top of my head. 1. "Bernadette" 2. "Paradise" 3. "Darling - Darling - Baby" (You're my sweet and tender lover) 4. "Rock - Steady" (We began to rock - steady - rock me baby all nite long) LOL! Four of the greatest SOUL groups of all times. http://biz.yahoo.com/prnews/04 0505/law077_1.html

Hey All, SOS out for KevGo. Where is KevGo? & Where is Stephanie? Check out these articles. After finishing up my spagetti & meatballs - I decided to check out the two websites/names mentioned in the press release. I saved www.motownselect.com to my favorites - and decided to also check out Apple's iTunes Music Store. I came up with the below article. I also read one where there seems to be more controversy concerning iTunes, but one had to subscribe to get the full Wash. Post article. What in the sardines is going on. I see EMI hurried up w/the quickness and made the deal w/iTunes to sell/rent them all of the Motown music mentioned in the PR. I also wonder why Berry Gordy never wished to "Wade in These Waters." Some folks were hoping for some Motown unreleased materials - so I suppose - here we go. I will just say! http://www.macdailynews.com/co mments.php? id=P2647_0_1_0 http://www.ecommercetimes.com/ story/macdigital/33715.html http://www.waff.com/Global/sto ry.asp?S=1858915 http://www.macworld.co.uk/news /main_news.cfm?NewsID=8646 http://www.dailyherald.com/sea rch/main_story.asp?intid=38117 79 Has anyone ever bought music from iTunes? I think I read where some are calling it rented music. LOL! Too much! And of course our beloved Motown music has to be all up in the mix. If it all works out - then what a coup for iTunes, indeed. (mainly - the Motown aspect that is) I do declare! (Message edited by gogogirl on May 11, 2004) |

All, I beg your pardon. I meant "a collection never before compiled and presented as such in any format, and 45 hard-to-find albums from the Motown archive." (and not never released material) |

Is anyone else having a problem accessing the Motown Bulliten Board site? They had a listing of the first 45 Motown A-sides and albums available for download from itunes. |
