The hard part is done. Now for the "easy" stuff. Finding $14 million, finding a mostly teenage cast to play the leads. Enlisting the talents of special efx people, a cinematographer, etc. etc. Easy stuff, huh? I am open to your suggestions and connections as I would love to start filming by this fall. Also I need to come up with several still photos of such sites (circa 1972) of the Donovan/Motown Building. Olympia, Tiger Stadium, JL Hudsons, Vernors, Strohs to name just a few. Aside to Millie Felch: I named one of the characters "Motown Millie." With your kind permission, I would like to leave her named as such. To Ralph and Russ: Motown Millie mentions Tera-Shirma as my way of saying thanks guys for all the great music you brought to us. "Hot Buttered Soul" remains an essential listen in my collection to this day. I ramble. And I am excited. I thanks all of you here, as you helped guide me through the process of sitting my butt in the chair and banging out the right letters in the right order to come up with this story that has Motown as an major part of the story. 12 pages of the script I hope can be filmed at Hitsville USA. Cam, Of course you can use the name Motown Millie...just as long as you put me in the movie!!! Just Kidding...anyway, congratulations on the completion of the screenplay.
