Hi Darren, Welcome to SFD. All I know ( from this forum ) is that Teddy has been busy producing a new singer by the name of Taylor Rose. You've come to the right place to find out all the interesting stuff though. |

Ralph, OOOPS!!!. Now why on earth did I think that? I must have read the thread and made an assumption - and a pretty bad one at that. Apologies Ralph and Darren. So, WHAT IS Teddy Pendergrass up to then? |

Thanks Ralph, You know, I had to stay away from the forum for a few days to give my cheeks some time to cool down. I reckon that the heat from them could have melted Antarctica! The lesson I have learned is that while I think I'm alert at 4am - I'm seriously not. And my thanks go out to all of you who have kindly refrained from telling me to ensure that I have the correct information before I open my mouth . |

Ralphie Boy: Do we have to use "Google"? How about "Overture"? Or, "Ask Jeeves"? And, "AllTheWeb". How about, "HotBot"? Do U have stock in Google? Wait... wait a minute! U couldn't! It hasn't gone pubic yet. My point is: let's not let Google monopolize! Whenever I want out-of-date 411, I go to Google. Recently, they didn't post about JOHNNY BRISTOL's death until after he was buried! They were still refering to "Sadamn Airport" a week after it had been renamed by America to "Baghdad Airport". Otherwise, I personally prefer Overture with 40 choices -- as in Top 40 -- on one page! Plus, it's a much nicer -- and musical -- word. Note: "24 hours from Tulsa" and 28 hours from Motown-45! P.S. - Why is the "SDF Clock" chronically five minutes behind?

Helene, we've all been guilty of it. Don't be too hard on yourself! Wonder B: My mother saw Teddy's show back in '79, in S.C. My mother even thought that the Teddy Bear was hot. Your picture only proves her point. |

Hello, soulful friends! I got all the PIR discography by Teddy Pendregrass. Also have had four or five Lp's from his Elektra-Asylum years ("Love Language", "Workin' It back", etc.) wich I give to a friend. I dislike his style very bland in comparison with his previous work in Philly Int. Many people in Spain was interesting and "discovered" Teddy because the cult film "Choose me" by Alan Rudolph and was deceptioned when bought the Lp "Love Language" because those people liked "And If I Haved" wich also appears in the soundtrack but is from his first PIR album ("Teddy Pendergrass"). I have let this LP many times to a lot of friends because this song. But have another PIR album entitled "Ready For Teddy Pendergrass" I knows only for the cover art (Teddy's dressed color pink and sitting in a sofa), that appears in a Soul Music encyclopedia. Here don't says if is a compilation. Somebody knows the track-list or simply if are or not a compilation? Many thanks, Peace & Soul Food |

Hey Helene! Most of us here are in this together. There's no shame in making an innocent mistake. The shame only comes into it if you're stubborn & refuse to learn from it! |
