Poor Red. As soon as he leaves, they put his kind of music on American Idol.

The show was great last night.

I don't watch it, unless someone (usually my daughter) tells me to watch it...most of the time when I do watch it, I end up disappointed.

Red was on the Conan O'Brien show last night, they looked like they could be brothers. Yeah, he missed his chance with the Big Band style of music, but he should have been banished along time ago.

SisDetroit, I WAS MORTIFIED, when I heard him sing or attempt to sing that song!!! My mouth just fell open. Nothing against him personally, I mean we can't get mad at him for trying, it's the people who voted, that made it such a fiasco. I think he was relieved in the end. The bad thing is that he got a couple of death threats and that is a bit much!!! Tonite they let George go, but it's all good. My girl Latoya London, who is from my hometown and Fantasia will be the only ones standing pretty soon, like Simon said, they are both in a different league, compared to the others. SANG GIRLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If you were paying attention, you could see that every time he advanced he'd have this look on his face like: "You're shitting me, I did????" HE couldn't even believe it. He always seemed to be the most surprised & I'll give him credit, because it showed me that his ears couldn't hide the truth from his brain.

With that said, I give him credit for having the chutzpah for getting up in front of the world & showing how boring he is. I could never get up there. However, I can't sing either & unlike him, I know better than to try, as my skills are not stage worthy. Words to consider Red!!!

However, if they ever have a deep voice talking contest, I'M IN THE HOUSE!!!

I always felt that the judges sort of set of Red up. I mean, he auditioned singing a Dean Martin-type song. They should have known that most likely, he wasn't going to adapt well to a Motown night or a disco show. But they passed him on through because they thought he was different. Yet it seemed later he was punished for the very same thing that got him advanced in the first place.
