What was the 5 pin speaker and mic connection that was popular in the 50's and before called? DIN? 5 pin XLR? Looks almost just like a MIDI connection.

Any good site where I can find a male adapter of this type to male 1/4" or RCA or normal XLR?

The DIN plug was a european connection found on Phillips and other equipment made in Germany, the Netherlands etc.If memory serves me correctly.

You will probably have to get someone to make you a lead.I haven't even seen one in the legendary Maplin's online catalogue.
