Soul singer, Bobby Hutton was just in the UK,
is now in the studio and man I heard from reliable
sources, his new CD is a smoker !!! I can't wait
to hear this bad boy !!!!

Bobby Hutton was a guest on the very first syndicated broadcast of "Soul Train." I saw him perform at my high school in 1973 and I used to run into him frequently in the '80s. Jackie Wilson was his idol and he used to tell me that he could sing all of Jsckie's songs in Jackie's key and range. Look forward to hearing his new music. |

Bobby spent quite some time in our chalet at the recent Prestatyn Soul Weekender (UK).
Whilst there, he played some recent recordings he had completed. His style has changed, but a version of a 70's Tops track he has done sounded great.
I have been asked (by Bobby) to send him some photos of him performing on UK shows for use on his proposed CD cover / in the CD booklet. |
