For those who like Joe -- there's a Travel Channel series called "Secrets of ..." and today at 4 p.m. it's "Secrets of Detroit" including some footage shot at Baker's Keyboard Lounge with Joe Messina and Joe Hunter jamming, and talking a bit. There's also some bits filmed at the Motown Museum. It's a cool series, I've seen "Secrets of New Orleans" ...I may be in a shot but I'm sort of hoping that hit the cutting room floor. |

p.s. They are repeating the broadcast on July 4 at 12 p.m., for those who plan ahead ...I'm not sure how the time thing works with cable, if 4 p.m. Eastern means 1 p.m. Pacific? |

I just found out that Detroit Comcast doesn't carry the Travel Channel, waah. Luckily someone is taping it for me. The suburban cable companies carry it ... |

How about the rest of the country? Sometimes other cable companies will carry things that aren't officially part of what they carry. Does that make sense? |

I saw the whole show and I got to tell you that is was great! From the automoive industry to Motown, it was well put together. I found it to be very informational and one of my friends were watching it as well. Now Sue, was that you I saw on tv. (smiling) Also, Mr. Messina & Hunter were great as well. I'm just glad I caught it in time and that I really enjoyed it. Thank you Sue for letting us know what time it came on. Waymon |
