Trying to do a search here, but cannot find any topic on old forum. I don't know the month/year it was in, so I can't sort it that way. I think it was last Fall some time, but I don't recall when. Maybe I'm doing something wrong...dunno...Anyway, I have a 45 by C. Alexander & the Natural 3 on Guyjim and I'm not at all familiar with either the artist or the label. I noticed it was produced by Mike Hanks, so I wanted to see if anything was listed on that thread before I posted asking for info here, which may have already been mentioned!

.....i was looking for some back stuff on GM Recording, and LarsC recommended using an advanced Google search. In as much as I'm consistantly refering back to the old threads, I e-mailed David Meikle about the problem a while back, and I understand David and Lowell will try to find a fix.

This 45 was released a couple of times; It (originaly?) also came out Antone, which credits it to C Alexander and The Soul Family.
I guess it dates from the late 60s. One of the singers told me it was recorded in Detroit - but he couldn't remember which studio.

Sorry this is so late in responding (haven't been here in a few days) - thanx to all of you for your help. I guess the Guyjim issue is one of the more "common" ones. I just never saw that label before. I never saw anything on Antone before either. Can you post the image? P.S. I still haven't been able to access the old threads - tried Google, but too many things came up. Anyway, you guyz are terrific!
