Does anyone (in Philly or elsewhere) remember a group called Le Tre Femme who had a single in the 60s called "Open Up the Safe"? I have the 45, and I am pretty sure it was on an independent label, so I guess my hopes for it ever appearing on CD someday are all for nought...but I'd still like to have it since I don't play my singles anymore. |

The were a local "bar band" type of female act for a minute here in town, nothing special though. Whoever named them should have had their language skills together before naming them. |

I remember Jerry Blavat playing the song I mentioned. I remember he used to have two songs "battle it out" and this one won a few times. Another favorite of the day was I.O.U. by the Fashions. "You've Got to Pay the Price" by Al Kent and "Precious Memories" by The Romeos were from that era too, I think. Big favorites of mine, but I don't think any of these ever made it onto CD. I wish they would. |

I remember them being billed in Philly as "Philadelphia's answer to the Supremes" and someone from Motown answered "what was the question?" |
