Lou is coming towards the end of his current UK tour (about 15 dates over a 3+week stay here).
I caught him at London's 100 Club about 10 days ago (backed by Mo 'Indigo from Brighton) and as always he put on a great show.
UK soul (& blues) fans should catch his show without fail.

Totally agree John - Lou finishes up his UK tour in Manchester this evening at the Life Cafe - if you get the chance don't miss him because he is excellent and Harry Lang's band Mo'Indigo have grown in stature since touring with Charles Walker last year.

I caught him at St Helens's excellent Citadel venue last Saturday where soul and blues fans were treated to a great show of his 60's classics such as I'm Coming Home In The Morning and tracks of his ultra soulful all real instruments CD Words of Caution on Severn Records.

People have ask on the forum whether soul music has disappeared or died - it is far from dead - all over the States people are still performing it just lies beneath the surface and Lou is one of the many performers who are still gigging and need support.
