SoulfulDetroit is pleased to present The Fortune Records Story.
written by
Ron Murphy.

Ron’s story first appeared in a Michigan music magazine called R.P.M. in September of 1983.

R.P.M. was based in Southfield and called itself The New Voice Of Record Collecting. The only copy I have seen proved to be a very enjoyable read.

Ron Murphy is Detroit’s premier music authority and has worked in the music industry in Michigan for over 40 years.
