..Howdy, FOLKS! Join me tonight for a 3 hour show ( Tue Sept 7 9PM-12M EST) celebrating th "Underdogs of Motown"...those "second tier" acts that WERE second tier because Motown gave them no promotion or their material was a problem or because the Supremes and the Four Tops were getting all the company attention. Some of these artists include Brenda Hololoway, Kim Weston, Carolyn Crawford, Chris Clark, Tommy Good, Pat Lewis, the Spinners, Jimmy Ruffin, the Velvelettes, and what would a show called "the Underdogs of Motown" be without ......(yes, of course!)the UNDERDOGS!!! I'll air a special set of Underdogs tracks from their time before Motown.
