Maybe this article has already been posted here, but for those who haven't read it, please do... Mr. Terry's honesty is ridiculously refreshing... I just got a good feeling reading this man's experience at Motown and beyond... A very real cat...

Peace!
Isaiah

That was a wonderful article for a great, humble and extremely talented man!!

Mike Terry was the man who gave me my first Detroit recording session at Tera Shirma, studio B in february of 1968,just after it's opening.

I am still in contact with him to this day and hopefuly look forward to once again being in his musical presence .

Hi MHC, I'm getting the same problem with the pop-up sceens. It'll be sorted out soon, then I can email all my friends again. I can log onto certain sites that I'm filmilar with, some try to pop up sceens may try to but goes away. The only thing is I can't get to my email nor can I send any out.

The Tripod Site has been closed now for over two years, although it's still there. If you do find it by chance, just click on the link to the www.SoulfulKindaMusic.net site. Not only is it pop up free, it's also about three times as big, well over 650 pages now.

Great article! Nice to hear about those days straight from the horse's mouth. He's also one of my favourite arrangers (and a pretty darn good sax player, too!).
