Don't believe the hype...the math doesn't add up (unless there was some major cradle robbing and/or activities of questionable legality in the mix). Tyson was born in 1948, with JoJo being born in 1971 and K-Ci 1969 = 23-25 years difference. This threw up a flag because my Sis, who was born a couple of years before Mr. Tyson, was a college classmate of Dalvin & Donald DeGrate's father. | ||

I think that the sentence says that the grandfather of KC& JoJo also sang in the gospel group. Isaiah, you had me going for a minute, there. I had to read that sentence about 3 times, to get it right. Nevertheless, this was an interesting article on the web site I knew of some things, but also learned new info. It keeps happening, I buy music in the store and you all are talking about a group or single act that I have purchased later on. I just purchased The Ethics cd yesterday!  I may need to ask for a loan pretty soon-LOL | ||

K-Ci and Jo-Jo's grandfather was a mentor of sorts to Tyson in his youth. I think they were in a gospel group together. | ||
