My partner Jon Bowen and I have been progressing at a decent pace as we push toward our target date of shooting the film "Point in Time" in Metro Detroit next spring and summer.

We owe thanks for the nice thoughts and encouragement to Millie, Ralph, Fred and so many others here. We will give you and this wonderful web site a mention in the end credits of the film.

Meanwhile, we have taken our site "semi-public" with this announcement. We are not registered with any of the search engines at this point, that will come later.

We are still seeking acting talent of different ages. Please see the cast breakdown on page three of the site. We have lots of young, talented actors who have applied. Most of them unknown or new to films, and that is great.

We have some investor interest. We would like to get a couple of stars in this film. Jeff Daniels and Emile Hirsch are on our short list. Any of you groovy guys and gals know somebody who knows somebody who knows these fine actors?

Star power will make the film more marketable, for sure. But both Jon and I believe we have a great story line and an excellent script.

Suggestions for actors (even yourself or your kids) are welcome. We belive so strongly in this project that we are positive that it is the vehicle that can launch careers.

Enough babble for now. Again, thanks for all the encouragement. As you might be able to tell, I am very excited about this film.

Peace, love and all that 70's stuff,

Sounds like a very interesting project. My son would be perfect 17 years old senior-who grew up listening to his dads love of the Motown sound.
Unfortunately we live in the D.C. area.
Richard Brauer-my wifes cousin would be a good contact- he has directed several movies-and has been Jeff Daniels cameraman on two movies- he is located in Traverse City. He just finished up a movie with Ernie Borgnine.
Good luck

Good luck. I just happened to be 16 years old and living in Warren in 1972,
Make sure you tie in thelocal radio stations for the movie-especially CKLW,WKNR and of couse WJLB- with Martha Jean The Queen. That would certainly be the stations an aspiring Motown artist would be listening to in 1972.
