There are a lot more of DSO guys whose names are unknown except to Motown producers and some music buffs.

SteveS knows a violinist named Felix (Resnick?) who played on a lot of Motown sides apart from his stellar DSO career.

Hubert Laws was his student? This guy must have been a master. I wish I knew what songs he played on specifically so that I can listen more closely. Thanks Sue for the link.

It's such a shame that I am only finding these facts out much later in my life. But to be honest, if it wasn't for Sue and SD, I probably wouldn't find them out at all...

I learnt from the voice on his recordings and a Motown picture sleeve 45 that Bobby Breen was a man. Are you suggesting that was the position in the past but not today?
