Rhonda's husband's name is Rodney Kendrick, he's a jazz musician - absolutely no relation to the Birmingham, AL Kendrick family! Which means, no, she is NOT Eddie's daughter, nor is she married to any of his sons. | ||

I heard of her and she quite a good actress. I first time I seen her was on a daily soap believe it was on Santa Barbara, I think? She has a nice voice and still has gigs and all. I think what's holding her back is the fact that she comes from famous parents, that's kinda robbing the spotlight from her. I think Diana should keep her distants and let the child perform by not stealing the spotlight, not to shed any negitivity towards Ms. Diana. Her Sis is a heck of an actress in her own right that co stars in Sisters. Don | ||

Is that her husband in the photo? She is a good actress, but I didn't think much of her singing, but then I only heard very little. She played Paul's wife in the movie about the Temptations. Also, years ago who was the backing singers Diana used in her HBO Vegas performance--the Eddie Hendricks Singers? It always sounded like she was saying Eddie Kendrick singers. Anyone? | ||

I was happen to be browsing through the SD Archieves, and happen to run across the Hodges, Smith & James & originally Crawford? Hi Uptight & Randy; The gentleman in the photo with Rhonda, works at the United Nations and is a big fan of Jimmy's, he came to all Jimmy's shows at New York's "Tavern On The Green" in Central Park, that is where that photo was taken. I guess Rhonda was a big fan too, attending all performances as well. Alot of the actors, actresses, & other rich & famous would always go to the shows at "Tavern on the Green" but not neccessarily to the club dates. Madonna was another one who came in every night to catch Jimmy's show. S.S. | ||

It is not Rhonda's husband in the photo above. A few years back, I saw a wedding photo of the two of them, along with Diana and Berry. I remember her husband as sort of a husky fellow with long dreds. Re Diana's backup singers, I too thought they were called the Eddie Hendricks singers until I saw her HBO special. Later , I bought an album on which they also did backup vocals: Barbra Streisand's LIVE AT THE FORUM . On there, they are billed as the Eddie Kendrix (or Kendix) singers.
