Detroit Free Press August 25, 2004 The Legendary Ladies of Motown concert scheduled for Saturday at Chene Park in Detroit has been postponed. The concert was to feature Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, Kim Weston,and Mary Wilson and the Supremes -- all supported by legendary Motown backing band the Funk Brothers. Producers say the event is being rescheduled so they can get production issues in order that will allow the concert to be recorded for a DVD and potential TV broadcast. They hope a new date will be announced in about a week. Tickets will be honored for the new date; those wishing refunds should go to their point of purchase. | ||

I checked with ticketmaster and they said that the concert is still scheduled for Saturday. |
