I know this was kind of a hokey song but I loved the record--Johhny stretches and Deniece soared. Does she ever record secular music anymore? Is Johnny still on Columbia?

Hey Jimmy,

All that I've heard is that Niecy has pretty much left the secular world of music behind her. I haven't seen hide nor hair of Johnny.

By the way, thanks for giving me grist for the ERRGGGH files. That was one record that I loved to hate.

Hi!
Recently I saw in a music-store in Barcelona a Johnny Mathis CD titled "Duets" or somthing like that. I remember, reading the artists (all female vocalist) appears Dee Dee Bridgewater. Don't recall the label but also don't seems to me like a compilation of old material.

Peace!

The album they did together wasn't bad either..if a little cheesy in places. Good choice of songs though

JuiceFree is right Deniece Williams has left the secular world and has back to her roots of gospel and has many gospel recordings. Last I heard she recorded a gospel CD 3-4 yrs ago.
