Hello Everyone! We finally have dates and venues for Dennis Coffey's book signings for September! Here they are: Saturday, 9/11 - 2pm - Jazz 'n Jams on Telegraph just south of Nine Mile in Southfield, Tuesday, 9/21 - 7pm - Borders in Novi, Friday, 9/24 - 12noon - Borders in the Compuware Bldg., Downtown Detroit, Wednesday, 9/29 - 7pm - Borders in Birmingham As soon as we get dates for October and November they will be posted here, as well as up-coming interviews on XM Radio (Soul Street/Groove), WOMC, WVMV, WDET, WMXD and more! If you haven't read "Guitars, Bars and Motown Superstars" yet, please do yourself a favor and pick up a copy...it's a great read, and what's more, it'll give you one of the best insights into the world of a session player, and a Motown session player at that!!! |

Dennis Please come to New York. I'd love to have you sign your book & to shake the hand of the man who played that funky guitar on Scorpio, Black Belt Jones, Sure Can't Go To The Moon & my favorite, Wings Of Fire. Will you be coming to New York?? |

Hopefully, you can include a stop in Chicago as well. Make it a Monday and we'll go jam over at Buddy Guy's |

Love the book. I was especially happy to read his story of the thank-you letter from the Temptations and that it was the only thank-you letter he ever got. It was in the '70's I believe. Interestingly, reporters who interviewed the Classic Temptations in the mid-60's also mentioned how gracious and courteous they were. And I've heard that said today, and certainly they have been when I have met them. |

Welcome back, Mel! Dennis, please make Cleveland a stop as well if you're touring. I already have your autograph on the Evolution LP cover (you signed it for me at the 2003 gathering), but I wouldn't mind having an autographed copy of your book as well! Best, Mark |
