I agree, "I Feel Good All Over" I never get tired of that song, she has always been a strong singer. I also like the duets with Teddy Pendergrass. LadyMystique- it should be in all record stores. | ||

Stephanie's new cd, BORN FOR THIS, is classic R&B, very soulful. The new single is called, "Healing Time". You can purchase it at all major retailers or online through Stephanie's website.I was at Sunset Junction this past weekend to see her perform and she was awesome! She really worked that stage, singing many of the hit songs that she has recorded since the late 1970's. We heard most of our favorites, starting with "What Cha Gonna Do?" She sang classics like "Never Knew Love Like This Before, " and other songs like "Something In The Way You Make Me Feel." She thanked the audience for giving her 10 Number 1 Records, and even treated us to her son, Farad, dancing on stage with her. At 47, Stephanie is in tip-top shape. She looks fabulous and she really worked that crowd-but then, she didn't have to. It was a love fest. She and her band felt the love from all of us who are so HAPPY that she is back! Stephanie welcome everyone to join her fan club at www.stephaniemillsmusic.com, and thanked everyone in the audience for years of support. As a special treat, Stephanie put songs like Prince's "How Come U Don't Call Me Anymore" and "Feel The Fire" in a medley form. I was hoping she'd sing "Night Games" or "Last Night," but when you have as many hit records as she does, you can't sing everything. Her last song was fittingly, "Home," which the crowd screamed for. I want to thank my friend, Ross, for getting me backstage after Stephanie's show. It was a wonderful experience for me to finally meet and greet her in person, and shake her hand. I grew up with her music and have every album from the first one, MOVING IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION on ABC to the new one, BORN FOR THIS. Stephanie was most gracious, even though she and her band were taking off for destinations elsewhere. If you weren't able to see Stephanie Mills at Sunset Junction, you really missed a great show. I really hope she will come back again SOON!!!! |
