Weldon, I'm curious, what's your personal Top-10 recordings-songs-productions that you have done. Thanks Don, I don't know why I'm curious, its not like he's there. Something about when they're gone I suppose. I was in West Philly a week ago touring Drexel's campus with my oldest, and it crossed my mind. I read Tiki was known as "Butch" back in his neighborhood. |

Great historic photos!!!! I love the one of Dee Dee Sharp & Bobby Martin. Excellent! On Raquel Welch, I saw her on Shindig in the '60s singing "Dancing In The Street" and, in my opinion, had no voice. |

Weldon, I noticed that Don from the Big Windy had darned-near done a full-fledged interview with you on those 25 questions he posed...(smile!) Now, you see, Don would make an excellent talk-show host(hint-hint!) Anyone who has that kind of knowledge and inquisitiveness is tailor-made for the journalism business... Good Questions, Donnie... Peace! Zeke |

Thank you Isaiah. Well if it wasn't for my stolen record library of congress and data gettin' ripped off (hint-hint) so I don't have alot of facts to back others that post. Hard enough as it is recalling some things, although I know my stuff, but it's good to see those on SD that post picture of pics, lp's and singles to help me remember cause in a way I'm at a disadvantage. I'm going to take classes as I speak so that doesn't leave me with no time to post anything any more. I'll try to post something. I got my journalism down pat. You inspire me. Don |

Weldon, on the August 16th photo you posted there was a guy in the crowd named Ron. You said you forgot his last name. The guy is Ron Richardson, a singer-songwriter. He was also with the PIR group, City Limits. I met him here in Chicago back in '78 when he was touring with Eartha Kitt in the play, "Timbuktu." |

Good evening Weldon, My older cousin turned me on to your group, his wife is actually from Philly. Plus he had you all's sides, he turned me on to Philly's unsung singers and vocal groups regionally and local recordings. Weldon, I remember Bobby Eli posted many of earlier Philly singles he had including the flipsides, cause my cous Alec has all those particular sides. I talked with his sister a few wks ago and she told me that he would burn them all on CD's for me, cause he knows I've always been crazy about Philly. He should be coming to the family reunion pretty soon. I still say your cousin Jackie is cute, yes, I watch her broadcast every night. "Like DVD Mike sez us Chi's are pretty smart and hip to what's going on musically", or anything else that comes. Don Chi-Town |

What a coincedence Weldon, my cousin's wife Marie was stopped by in town for an early visit. And told me Alec had to work on labor day he's a trucker and hauls meats and produce. And said she has to go back to Philly and grab some extra threads that she'll head back this way, and said she'd bring my CD's with her, our family reunion will be in Gary In. Marie still looks the same when I first met her. I don't know what is her secret to the fountain of youth. Meme still has her sense of humor. I wish you and yours a happy labor day. Don |

I'll try probally tomorrow to email you and to let you know it is me, so you won't confuse me with someone else. I'll give you my B-day numbers as a pass-code so you'll know it is me. Please post your email address. Don |
