I always buy a lotto ticket on FRiday 13th and the next prize (today) is a mere $18 M... if I get it, I am starting my own US tour next month... LOOOOOL

Spent $500.00 on lottery tickets last week and my number finally hit. I won 30 whole dollars, I am so excited. Of course you know that was a joke. |

I trust God; ain't superstitious. Would have hopped on a plane after 911 if I had had any money. Had a premonition once that I was going to live til the age of 87 so I ain't "scurred" of nuttin! (I'll start biting my nails when I'm 86.) |

That's pretty funny, Nosey. I don't believe that crap about superstitions and Friday the 13th. Well, the only bad thing that did come out of Friday the 13th was my mom, who was born on Friday, September, 13th, 1958. Just kidding! LOL!!!!!!! My mom's birthday fell on Friday the 13th two years ago, and she had a great birthday.
Although, for some strange reason, it was really chilly this morning. Normally, it doesn't get this chilly in August, and it feels like late September. Maybe it's a sign, but I don't think so. |

All,
I am worried about that CAT 4 hurricane that's bearing down on FL. I remember Isabel last year. Some say she took my mother away from us. The cane hit that Thurs - and my mother was gone that Monday - the last day of Summer.
God help all the folks in Florida. Now they are talking about the folks in Orlando that need to evacuate.
Hope the Russi brothers and all our other Florida boardmates are alright.

It is kind of scary. It looked as though TS Bonnie and Hurricane Charley was going to hit Louisiana. If they were both going to hit Florida simultaneously, shouldn't the hurricanes be named Bonnie and Clyde? |

BTW, the name of that storm was TS Isidore. It came a few weeks before Lili. I know because both hit Louisiana. School was out for like two days when Isidore hit, and three days when Lili hit. |
