You may have all noticed the abscence of Meland thensome just lately,well i can confirm the awful news that his computer has broken down.Mel contacted me by the ancient method (telephone)last night to confirm the sad news,although many friends had feared the worst for quite a while.Anybody who has been in this awful predicament will know how Mel will be feeling at this very sad time.Let,s just hope that by the good wishes and prayers of all S.Der,s we can help Mel in his time of need. | ||

Boy, I have definitely been there! Get well, Mel's computer. Seriously, unless you're a serious online gamer, a computer needed to do basic stuff like chat online can be found dirt cheap. I'm talkin $100 US. | ||

Tony, it's only in the last few weeks I've got to the net at home - all the time previously I was using cyber-cafes and the local library. Scottish libraries provide free internet access - I'm sure English ones do too. All is not lost - I managed to keep up with this forum for nearly three years without a home internet link. Davie | ||
