This will be my final post for a long time as my p.c. is to be binned. I need a new one and will be looking for one but will be a while because of arious reasons.(finances etc). see the keyboards knackered as well. It stops me from also keeping in touch with the good friends I hae made and will not be able to contact them in any way unless I find a good homing pigeon. Apologies to all and will be in touch when all is sorted. Some will probably be made up but to all my mates out there I will be back as soon as I can. thanks to Daid,Lowell and Ralph especially for allowing this thread on to the main forum board. Mel I have a friend who got a good machine thru ebay at a price you couldn't dream of. You should check Ebay out immediately. Meanwhile keep those feet movin' at the nighters. Will be in touch regards November at Fleetwood, if you can mail me your address again. best of luck David | ||

Hey Mel! I well understand you. My old computer have had a serious trouble, when a storm burned the internal modem appart from other problems with the logical plate and i was without connection until more than a month later, when i acquired a new Mac and give the old I-Mac to my children. This month seems to me like two years without talking with my friends in SDF. After to be a home-less, perhaps the most sad is to be a computer-less, when we belongs to a "virtual family". Mel, even if you can't get another PC immediately, please consider visiting the library and using their computer system (if they have public PCs in the libraries over there...and I'm sure they do). Good idea Mark - when we were in Detroit, I used the library computer to 'Yahoo Messenger' my wife back here in London. All free of charge. However, I did feel guilty as David was busy doing his research for the Darrell Banks project. | ||
