Seems like we did this on that morning I through 50 top 5 threads onto SD! I'll have a different list here, as I can't seem to even think of many of their songs right now.

Ask The Lonely
Baby, I Need Your Loving
Without The One You Love
Pennies From Heaven

Now this is going to be hard LOL! My top 5 favorite Four Top singles:

Baby I Need Your Loving
( probably my favorite recording of all time )

I'll Turn To Stone
(very, very clever lyrics)

Reach Out I'll Be There
( sung with such gusto, such power and has a kicking rhythm track)

Still Waters Run Deep
(excellent lead, excellent background vocals, excellent instrumentation)

Ain't No Woman Like The One I Got
( harmonies beyond compare!)

I could go on and on.

Walk Away Renee
Standing in the Shadows of Love
Ask The Lonely
Till You Return to Me
If My Heart Could Sing

plus about 15 more.

BTW, I just put up a website that is a Four Tops song finder. From a drop down list, you select a song, and all the CD's the song is on (that I have in my collection that is) will be displayed with cover art and information like disc no, track no, and any special notations - like alternate mix.

And, I find it impossible to limit my "favorite" Four Tops song to just 5 or 10 or thereabouts, because in my website, I have 196 songs listed - and I still have 5 CD's yet to enter, not to mention the vinyl. When I did a count in my database, it blew me away!!

Catfish
Ain't No Woman...
Keeper of The Castle
Still Waters
All In The Game

I still blast "Catfish" !! That was real uptempo cut I'd ever heard them do...and the charts on that cut are off the hook. I mean some slammin' horns & killer bass, guitar & drums !!

This is giving me One Big Headache! - I know "Ask The Lonely" is Number One without a Doubt! that pure emotion, those Live vocals from the Live CD from the "Roostertail" tears just pour down my face, and listen to the Dry Vocals of OUR LEVI on the "Motown Singing Machine" - it blows my mind, but I am still trying to work out 2-5

Time Out! - LOL

Hey, 1Wicked!

In fact, I likes practically all the songs of the "Catfish" album except "Catfish" and "Disco Daddy". I think their ABC years deserves some re-editions on CD.

Peace!
