Mark Morrisson of Return Of The Mack fame was arrested Saturday after a fight. The story sounds a bit ambiguous. Judge for yourself: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/ent ertainment/3527444.stm

Sure it's fair enough. I simply don't get the connection between Mark & The Undisputed Truth or The Tempts. I feel as though I'm missing something here.

No, I didn't want for you to assume what I posted as a snap and rudeful answer, I've never been that way Juice. I meant that "smiling Faces Sometimes" means, all looks are not always percieved being humble. If I we're dude I woulda wore a fake one, like I used to do back in the day and keep my real piece at the crib-C'mon na.

I'm not angry I didn't see what was posted on the other thread. It could've been left up I wouldn;t have cared although it is you're thread, so. Anyway, I like that song "Return of the Mack" and was really innovative of 50% of what was being played and aired. Just a bit way over the top enhanced, I loved the composition, it alot tremble. It still holds up to this day JuiceFree.

Don,

I hear you on that. Being a mere DJ, I saw how fake people could be. I think that is in large part where I learned to be so skeptical of some folks. I can imagine the type of folks that you mhad to deal with in the music industry. When you find the right situation, it sounds as though it can be great. I've just heard so many horror stories about the behind the scenes industry goings on. Man, it's downright cold!

Return Of The Mack still keeps the dance floor packed. It just goes to show you that even though some people don't agree, there was still good music being made after the '70s. I thought that it was a great song & they used the sampling pretty tastefully.

I'd love to hear some of your work sometime. You have a lot of passion for the music & it sounds as though you have something good to offer us music fans.

Thanx Juice, I'm not an artist...maybe a ghost writer a long time ago? I give you a email if you'll allow me. Handsome shy'd away, what hurt me was he called myself ignorant. Don't ever say that! By the way Juice, do you still consider your wheels of steel could hold up to todays stuff? One day I'll make to SD's Convention and I'll meet you all. I wish alot of folk that we're here postin' about 3-4yrs ago and creating new threads, will please come back. Don't think Soul-Patrol got nuthin' compared to this site. They may have any & everything & everyone else, but we got the info and SouL and other's knows it.

Hi Juice and Don.

At last, my home town gets into the news .. albeit for bad reasons.

Having read the BBC article it sounds like MARK MORRISSON was treated somewhat harshly.

Unfortunately I think that he has gained a bad reputation for himself in and around Leicester, as he was involved in another night-club fracas in the city about five years ago, and also was arrested for having a "stun-gun" in Notting Hill, in central London at around the same time.

Incidentally, one of my sisters teaches at the school that he used to attend ( Rushey Mead ).

On a lighter note, that strange looking tower to the left of the "BBC Leicester" logo, in the article is Leicester's famous "Clock Tower", which is used as the emblem of the city, and is generally regarded as being in the exact centre of the city. At the side of it ( I think from where the photo is taken ) is a very large nightclub that has now stood empty for almost 20 years!! It used to be known as "Baileys" and was where the THREE DEGREES recorded their "Live" version of "T.S.O.P".

Don, what are you talking about?

I never said no such thing. Your false accusation will make me shy away for sure. If there you have a problem with me, please take it offline to me in an email. Please don't post your negative remarks on this board. I'd appreciate that very much.

Thanks in advance.

O, & Thank u 2. I was not trying to front you off. Maybe you don't think YOU REMEMBER saying it.
I never meant to imply it in such a negitive way of expression, my friend. I don't think you really are. However, I erased your email, "Why", because it was only one sentence. Maybe SDF a/k/a Handsome you'd like to post your email? I'm sort of confused myself. I'm waiting...I got nothin' better to do?
"I ain't mad at U".

Don, there is something wrong with your email,(I received a "Undeliverable"), but let me say this to you:

I know what said, and it was Please pardon my ignorance...what you derived from that is confusing to me. First let me make it infactically clear, I don't have a problem recollecting anything I say or do. At any rate, if you have a problem with something I said, please contact me offline, since that's where it began. I'm not on this board to fall out with people for any reason. I LOVE MUSIC! I'm not upset, but I just had to set the record straight. Thanks for understanding.

Meanwhile back at the ranch.....
