I was going to school again and working part time at a mom & pop shop. A first of many that I seen sell so fast, it was real in demand. The owner had to personally buy alot of boxes of Innervision that could keep up with the customers needs. Heck, I didn't get until 2-3 yrs later and that's the truth-I was lucky. |

31 years. Come on none of us here remember when that album came out. The oldest person on here is Ralph and he just turned 30. Or was it 29? Cam |

What a great album! Stevie has given us awesome gems. Innervisions and Songs In The Key Of Life are truly masterful. |

Stevie was really on a roll back in '73 in the middle of, IMO, his most fertile period from 1971-76. "Music Of My Mind & "Talking Book" were incredible and then this one was right there too. Loved the mix and album sequence (fast to slow etc.) with some of the cuts bleeding into each other with little or no dead air, a popular style back then on albums. Favorite cuts are: Too High Golden Lady Jesus Children All In Love Is Fair Couldn't wait for the next one to come out, "Fullfingness" and then the whole run was capped off with "Songs" in '76. |

"Music of My Mind" and "Talking Book" are sweet albums too. "In Square Circle" would blow most everything out of the water that makes the charts these days. BTW: I, too am old enough to remember when all of these albums came out. And when "Sgt Pepper" came out and "Pet Sounds" and "Doris Day's Greatest Hits" (well maybe that's pushing it). Cam |
