Hello fellow Soulful posters. For those of you who don't know that I'm more than just an SD poster...I'm also a writer for Detroit's alternative/entertainment newspaper, The Metro Times. I am writing an article on Darrell Banks and of course a part of the focus will be the memorial that so many of you have helped to organize, purchase and dedicate. I am looking for comments from posters that are Banks fans for my article. I am especially looking for comments from international posters and from people that helped raise funds for the bench. My questions are: why did you donate your hard earned money, and what affect has Darrell's music had in your life? In order to use the comments I will need your name and where you are from.
