Hey everybody. I just wanted to let you know that I have created a petition to show "Motown-Select" that we would really like them to release the album Mary Wilson from 1979 onto CD with bonus tracks. Remember to sign as soon as you can, because the petition closes August 29th, 2004, and we need as many signatures as we can get to have our voice heard by "Motown-Select". Hi John...I don't know what happened to Mary's current album produced by HDH...it might have been delayed or even canceled...which I hope doesn't happen...I'll have to e-mail her and find out... Carlo | ||

I met Mary at the Rock Hall at the opening of The Supremes gowns collection. She said the CD should be out in the fall. She said she had a couple more songs to record and touch up the others. | ||

I love Ms Wilson but I though much of the album was weak(Midnight Dancer?UGH!). If it is released I hope they add some of her other stuff like I Keep It Hid, Touch, Dont Let My Teardrops Bother You etc | ||

Hi Charise...actually...no...Cind y Birdsong, Diana Ross, and Florence Ballard didn't actually sign the petition...it was some weirdo who thought it would be funny to post their names...there are some negative comments on my petition...but unfortunately...there is no feature on "Petition Online" that allows you to remove them... ...But thank you everyone...keep up the great work!...We can do it! | ||

Carlo, First, thanks for working on this worthwhile project! I have tickets for a Mary Wilson concert on August 13th at 7:00 p.m. (RiverPlace Musikfest site, Bethlehem, PA) and I'd be happy to place blank copies of the petition in a convenient place--perhaps where the performers sell CDs and autograph pictures, etc. after the performances. Since you have contact with Mary Wilson, I would need her permission to bring the petitions to her "autograph" area before the show, since it might be difficult getting there in time after the show. She is a co-performer with the "Temptations" Review, and I'd want to make certain that the petitions get to the right place! Please let me know if you're interested ... and if you receive permission from Mary Wilson and how early she'd like me to get them to her.
