Billie Holiday passed away on this day in 1959.
The Supremes first single, "Buttered Popcorn" released on this day in 1961. Is this confirmed? A couple of years before my time, but I have the 45-LOL

Hi Don;
I know exactly what you mean, "Lady In Satin" is my fave album of Billie's. I think it was her masterpeice, it's the real her coming out stronger than any other time in her life. Just tears your heart out.
