Hi Everyone, I need some help. I was watching a compilation episode of James Brown's "Future Shock" 70s TV show. There was a song in one of the clips that I just have to track down. James introduced during a couples' dance contest and he announced the artist as Dave Matthews and the name of the song was "Shuggie Wants To Boogie". I've tried going to eBay and allmusic.com with no luck. I don't know if I'm misspelling the name of the artist or song. That song was awesome and pretty funky. Can anyone please help me out with the correct info or point me in the right diretion? I thank you in advance for any help you could give me. |

Hi ejkfan!! This would be "Shoogie Wanna Boogie" by DAVID MATTHEWS that came out on the Kudu label in 1976? The L.P. catalogue number was KU-30. Heres a label discography so you can see for yourself. There are full track details if you click on the link to "Shoogie Wanna Boogie" in the web-page. http://www.dougpayne.com/kudui n.htm Roger |
