Even though you know it's bad for you...you just can't stop doing it...and yes PLEASE KEEP CLEAN! :-)

For me, it's CHERRY COKE!!!! I can't stop drinking the stuff...the other thing I can't stop doing is watching reality tv shows...I have been watching Newlyweds, Surreal Life, and a few others...plus I can't stop watching other mindless tv shows...guess it takes my mind off of serious stuff..but I know I should be doing productive things!

Can't stay off the computer in my spare time. I think it's blinding me! lol!

As far as T.V...."when" I watch it, I like shows like the PBS Music specials, Inside Actor's Studio, The Young & The Restless (YES!)LOL, Big Brother, and realistic Movies.

Jimmy likes the Music Shows too, of course, and he likes the game show channel, LOL! That noisy channel drives me insane, LOL!!
If it ain't music I like peaceful quiet programs.:-)

Hi Medusa;
I tend to overeat too! Lord, I wish it was easy to stop esating the wrong foods that taste so good.LOL!
As far as wishing, hoping, worrying, & wanting to change some things...I think "EVERYBODY" does that. Everybody also dreams, and has certain hopes for the future, it's a human nature thing I believe.

Soul Sis...I can truly empathize with Mr. Scott, but cigartettes cost too much these days for me to let them burn out in the ashtray. I smoke mine down to the nubs so I can get my money's worth...LOL!

My daughter USED to harass me about my awful habit, but I think she has finally realized I'm a hopeless case. But, I did agree to compromise by not smoking in the house anymore.

Drinking Pepsis & smoking Newports, I'm addicted to both. The other most difficult thing is finding women to be the most beautiful gift of all Gods' creation. It's so hard not to look, but, I do so most respectfully!

If there's anything that I can't stop doing is eating the foods that I can't eat. You see, I wear braces, and there are a lot of things that I can't have like caramels, hard candies, jawbreakers, taffy, gum, and all that other stuff. But I still manage to eat it anyway, and not once have I broken a bracket or any other appliance. I just hope that I get my braces off sometime this year.

My vice is peppermint Tic Tacs. I can go through a six pack of those in a day (I chew them -- I think I bought my dentist a Lexus!).

There was a time when I went nowhere without a Salem Light and a diet Pepsi. Actually, I first met Sweetie Barbara Ingram backstage at a Patti LaBelle show, and we both had diet Pepsi's and cigarettes in hand and became instant buddies! We continued to share our vices whenever I saw her. I went smoke free through hypnosis in 1995 and gave up soda a few years ago. Now it's a bottle of Poland Springs water, and if I'm feeling particularly naughty -- my Tic Tacs.

Being in Rochester (Kevin knows about this), one must have an occasional Garbage Plate from Nick Tahou's. It's a plate of two hamburgs, or cheeseburgs, or hot dogs, smothered in greasy hot sauce, and whatever fixins you want. And a choice of two sides -- macaroni salad, potato salad, baked beans, French fries, home fries. They're TDF (to die for -- literally!).

AND I'll buy anything with a ladybug on it, in it, or near it. I love my ladybugs!

All,

jrlo - LOL! Well right now in my universe - I need to stop spending money. Since I've been here - Walmart has gotten over $2500.00. I kid you not. But I think I'm finished buying up stuff now.

Btw - there is a person on this forum that when I told them that I went to the dollar store the other day - I was asked - you got all that money from selling that house in VA - and you're going to the dollar store? LOL! I said "yeah - for some things." LOL! A good deal and buy is a good deal and buy - indeed.

I'm thru spending. Now for that J.O.B.. LOL!

*Baskin Robbins Love Potion #39 flavor...
*Coke with a scoop of vanilla ice cream (much better than Vanilla Coke I tell ya!)
*Internet connection... my wife says I am addicted beyond words and she threatens to throw the whole damn thing ouitta the window every day!
*Listening to my LP's from the first minute I wake up to the time I go to bed... (hopefully I sound insulated the whole room so I wouldn't bother my wife and daughter when I get a little too crazy on the volume knob!!!)

All,

Hey jrlo. I know that is right. Please tell your hubby - I can dig it. I haven't been to the 99 cents store yet - but I saw one located down the road - so I have to check it out. LOL! I never noticed any in VA.

Bed - Bath & Beyond - even got a chunk of my money. LOL!

I have to amend my previous statement by saying that some of the funds I spent in Walmart was on groceries too. The store is 1.7 miles from my house. LOL!

Anyway - I'm thru spending - but it is nice to have a Super WM so close - indeed. I love to get the fresh shrimp from there. I love steak and shrimp together.

Dinelle if you haven't tasted the LOve POtion #39 from Baskin Robbins, you have missed something... it's not one of the regular flavors, but it usually is on the menu during summer... it tastes a bit like Winter White Chocolate but features raspberry jam filled chocolate candies and some other stuff ... just delicious LOL

I spent yesterday afternoon listening to my music, and I couldn't stop playing two Gladys Knight & The Pips songs: "If I Were Your Woman" AND "I Don't Want to Do Wrong." It is wonderful listening to a grown woman professing her love and ability to please a man--instead of some of the whining, gyrating "stars" of today! While I was listening, I imagined that I was a Pip, and Ms. Knight was singing to me.

Then my wife got tired of my constant playing of the same songs, and she told me that I was a "pip." So I guess that I accomplished something.
