There is a song that is being played on a Philly station that I can't seem to find the name of. It is a female vocal -- I don't know if it is by a group or by a solo performer. The lyrics that tend to repeat are "another lonely weekend" and "love reputation." It sounds very 70s, but I may be wrong on that. Can anyone help? |

Denise LaSalle's "Love Reputation" on Tarpon (reissued on Chess)? A great uptempo Chicago soul record, but from around '67 rather than the '70s. |

Thanks, BJL, but it's not the Denise LaSalle song you mentioned. I have the Chess Divas CD and I double checked after I heard the song on the radio. |
