i was listening to my enchantment cd and was wondering if they have the same lead singer today. and what is his name. can you all tell me if any of the other old groups have the same lead singer today, and the groups that have replacements but still have the same sound that they had years ago. | ||

Hi Fayette, I am a Seattle Dj/Record Collector and Enchantment is one of my very favorite groups. I own every lp they've released. The lead singer is Emanual "EJ" Johnson and all of the members are still the original group except for Walter Jones, who replaced Bobby a few years ago. The group still tours in Soul Music shows and EJ released a Gospel lp in 1999 called Totally With Me. Hi Fayette! About 6 months ago, I bought an Enchantment and Tavares Greatest hits CD for my 26 year old who loves our music! She said, "Ooooooooh mommy, I just love the music and the words!" Also, she said, she's not like most people my age because she listens to everything meaning the drums, guitar, etc. Her favorites are "Forever More" by Enchantment and "Check it Out" by Tavares that she plays especially for her "honey". She says "Check it Out" says it all! |
