Mel - I don't know this Bumpshop disc, but Albert had a few 45s on the Tri City label. I assume it's the same guy. Do you have the details from the label; number, writers, etc'.? |

I thought "Reflections" was by a singer named Al Jay. I love it; haven't heard the other side though. |

Could this be the single? other side is The Old Man. Both sides are great midtempo soul. Great voice! Lars |

Nice scan Lars. Great song too. I'm not sure how many 45s there were on Bumpshop, but my listing has several gaps: 125 - Turn of the Century 126 - Dee Edwards 130 - Third Demption 136 - Stix & Stoned 152 - The Steppers 153 - Al Jay 162 - Final Decision (this was released twice) Can anyone fill in the missing numbers? |

Mel, The Final Decisions' song is "Keep On Walking." "Money Can't" was recorded by Turn of the Century (#125); I don't know of a Pacesetters' 45 on Bumpshop. |

I found another Bumpshop record. Other side is Dreams Selection by Sunshine. The numbering system on Bumpshop is a bit strange. Not always are the GM numbers and the record number the same. On the Dee Edwards single (126) is the GM number 128. And this scan has a record number of 1102! By the way, this is a rock/funk group. Lars |

Thanks Lars PJ Proby (1960's Brit-pop singer) recorded a song with a similar title. I wonder if it's the same one? |

Graham, yes it's the same song - Pat and Lolly Vegas went on to form Redbone, Jimmy Ford went on to co-write a lot of songs with Bobby Womack including "Harry Hippie" Davie |
