Hi guys. Dinelle here. I hope y'all enjoyed your Indepence Day. I guess the title of the thread pretty much said it all. I actually met Maze. My mom and I was coming from the riverwalk after watching the fireworks when I saw a short guy in the lobby of the hotel where my dad works. I was actually sitting next to him and didn't even know it. Talk later. |

Okay. I'm back. My intuition told me that I was sitting next to someone famous. Once my stepdad talked to him, he told me it was really Maze. They were in town for Essence Fest. Have you guys ever wanted to meet a famous singer? And if you did, what was it like? |

Hi Dinelle. Frankie Beverly and Raw Soul, erstwhile the Butlers were a permanent fixture on the club scene when I was rumpshakin' in the 70s. They were a very popular band here with a huge following and we were saddened in Philly when they opted to move to Cali and become Maze. |
