Thanks Mel

My computer crashed 4 weeks ago and it has been a struggle since. Should be back to normal from today.

There are some adjustments/additions to be made including acknowledgements.

I see on the notice for the 20Grand performance with Marvin Gaye, they have Tammy Montgomery listed. What year did they change Tammi's name from Montgomery to Terrell?

Tony C - How are you? I've been on the other threads of Non-soulfuldetroit Issues, causing trouble over there. LOL

DMeikle - I've got to go by Cyril's today. They are having trouble with their computer, but I will try to get them into the Robert West Story.

The 20 Grand advert is from October, 1965.
Tammi had "I Can't Believe You Love Me" released in November of that year. Was it her 1st Motown release?
It's interesting to see that the event is billed as a Hitsville Revue - not a Motown Review.

Great job, Lowell and David, on Robert West, Part II. I look forward to more informative articles on other Detroit labels and artists.

Good lookingout Graham, pointing "Hitsville Review." Now you see where our mindset was in the early 60's. :-)

Thanks Robb.

Our next webisode will be on the great Mike Hanks.

It will be presented by Graham and will appear in a couple of months time.

After that it should be Fred Bridges, and many more, in due course.

I am really chuffed with the Echoic stationery, a studio I had never heard of until Ron contacted me.

The building is still there so we will stop by next week.

Yes, I spoke to the owner of the studio, which was just a garage - who was pretty old then; around 90. I think he's in a nursing home now.
