....a real cool cat.
This guy has played on virtually every record from the 70s on. Can play his behind off.
My favorite percussion playing of his: Sister Sledge's "Thinking of You". The interplay between him and guitarist Nile Rodgers at the song's beginning is fierce.

Sammy IS a cool dude.
I had him play on all of my NYC productions.
AND, he is one FUNNY dude!
You should see him do is impersonation of Sammy Davis!!
