What do you think of Truth hurts? The new album boasts production from Raphael Saadiq, who also appears on 'Knock,Knock'. The title track is a real sexy slow burn. As oppossed to the more urban debut her sophomore may appeal to fans of this site. Let me know what you think?

Don, I actually bought Truth's first album on Dr. Dre's Aftermath label a few years back. I didn't care for her first single but I was sold by her portrayal of Linda Jones in the film Ali. She did an nice job mimicking Linda performing 'For Your Precious Love'.

The album was a nice mixture of classic R&B and Hip-Hop. I'm still not sure about Truth's voice though. She sounded OK on the album but I've seen her perform live on a few TV shows and she sounded horrible. Hopefully Raphael Saadiq is helping her become a better vocalist.
