I finally got by Detroit Memorial Park Cemetery today for pictures of the Darrell Banks memorial, purchased from funds donated by SD fans from around the world. Located in Section 36, it is the only monument in the section making it easy to see from the distance.  Here is a close up of the top.  As Eubanks is his real name, the compromise was to have the family name on the side and his show name on top. My best friend died a month ago and as we went into the church to start with they played the spinners 'Ill always love you' which was heartwrenching enough especially for his wife and family but as we ended they played Darrell Banks 'Open the door to your heart' say no more............... great to see a memorial to one of the finest voiced artists that I have had the pleasure to listen to.
